Pylon signs for visibility beyond the building
Recognition on the approach to your premises
Pillar Signs enhance visibility of shops with limited visibility or at points where highways due to speed, drivers do not have visual contact with the Sign of the building. Another advantage of Pillar Signs is the option to view information on the surface of a Pillar Sign that can’t be included in the main label. In the construction of our Pillar Signs we use the most modern raw materials, many different styles and Pillar Signs, before installation structural design is carried out before installation. Before you decide to proceed with the installation of a Pillar Sign, you should be aware that as the Pillar Signs are followed by a legal framework provided for outdoor advertising and publicity.

The viewing position comes before the sign size
A pylon sign is useful when the business needs to be recognised from somewhere other than the entrance itself. Premises set back from a road, a frontage obscured by other buildings and different approach directions create different requirements. Photograph the route visitors take, not just the proposed fixing location. Height alone does not determine visibility. Letter size, contrast, the amount of information and the relationship with existing signs all affect how clearly the message can be understood.
Prisma Art considers the proposed application in relation to the site, fixing and requirements that must be confirmed before installation. See petrol station signs for a particular use or custom signage constructions for other display needs. Include the location in Greece, available dimensions and whether an existing pylon is already present. For a project in Athens or another area, this information helps avoid choosing a scale simply because it looks striking in a photograph. Structural design and the assessment of site requirements are project tasks; they cannot be replaced by a general description on a website.
Questions about planning a pylon sign
When might a pylon help more than frontage lettering?
It can help where recognition is needed from another approach point or the building frontage has limited visibility. The viewing position should be assessed first.
Is a taller sign always the better choice?
No. Distance, obstructions, contrast and message size also affect visibility. The appropriate scale depends on the actual setting.
Can a pylon carry several pieces of information?
That layout can be considered, but the content needs selection and hierarchy so the main message remains readable.
What needs assessment before installation?
The position, fixing, structural design and requirements applicable to the particular installation need assessment before the project proceeds.
